It seems that Montale's focus has shifted from heavy oriental and medical ouds to European, juicy and green scents. I won't call these "light," because light fragrances and Montale are incompatible. Sugar reduction seems to be a challenge for them as well. Sometimes it works, as in the case of Fantastic Basilic and Herbal Aquatica. However, more often the juiciness and freshness are complemented with raging sweetness as in the newly released Rendez-vous à Paris.`
